Spare House

If you come down Tadiwala Road to the 14th Cross, you’ll find us at Spare House. The place is exactly what the name says. It’s a building full of every kind of spare part you can imagine for machinery and vehicles. We have rows and rows of metal shelving that go all the way to the ceiling. Most of the time, the air smells a bit like oil and old metal. We spend our hours looking through catalogs or climbing ladders to find that one specific bolt or gasket someone needs. It’s a bit of a maze in here, but we have our own system for where everything goes. The counter is usually covered in greasy fingerprints because we are always handling engine parts or messy components. We aren't the type of place with air conditioning or soft chairs for waiting. You come in, tell us what you’re looking for, and we go find it. It’s honest, gritty work. Some parts are covered in dust because they haven't been asked for in years, but we keep them anyway just in case someone finally needs them. The neighborhood knows us as the guys who probably have that weird piece nobody else stocks. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays or marketing. We just keep the inventory organized enough to find what’s needed when a mechanic or a guy working on his own car walks in and asks for help.
