Span Industries

Span Industries is based out in Talwade, on Plot No. 2421 A, Gat No. 255 A. It’s right in the middle of Jyotiba Nagar, which is a big industrial patch. We have a decent-sized plot here where we do our manufacturing. It’s a lot of metalwork and fabrication, so it’s never really quiet in the shed. We’ve got machines running most of the day and trucks coming in and out to pick up finished goods. The office is just a small part of the building where we keep the records and handle the taxes. We don't go in for fancy branding or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the items we produce are solid and meet the measurements. Talwade is a bit far out for some, but for us, it’s where all the action is. We see a lot of the same faces every day in the neighborhood. The work can be repetitive, but we try to do it right every time. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just have a schedule of what needs to be shipped by Friday. Most of our staff live nearby, so we’re a local bunch. We’ve had our share of machine breakdowns and late deliveries over the years, but we always manage to sort it out. It's just a normal factory life for us here. We keep the gates open early so the morning shift can get started.
