Modern Machine Repair

We've been hanging around Lonavala for quite a while now. Most people find us because we're right near the Mumbai Pune Express Highway, which is a busy spot in Taluka Maval. Modern Machine Repair isn't some big fancy corporation. We just fix things. If a machine stops working, it needs looking at, and that's basically what we do every day. Sometimes it's a small part, other times it takes all afternoon to figure out why something won't turn on. The rain here in the hills can be a bit much sometimes, but we stay open. It’s mostly just us working with our hands. We know the roads around here well. People drop by when they’re passing through or if they live nearby in the village area. It’s a lot of grease and old tools in the shop. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. Just a space where we keep the equipment and some spare parts. If you drive past the highway, you might see us. It’s quiet sometimes, then suddenly three people show up with broken gear. We try to keep things simple. No point in making things more complicated than they are. We’ve seen all sorts of machines come through these doors. Some are easy to handle, others are a real headache. But that's just how it goes in this line of work. We stay busy enough with the locals and the passing traffic.
