Patni Trading Co

If you are driving along the Pune Satara Road, you might see us near the Laxmi Narayan Theatre. We are right opposite it, in Shop No 4 at Sr. No. 3. Being in Mukundnagar means there is always a lot of traffic, especially when a popular movie is playing across the street. Patni Trading Co has been around for a while, and we have gotten used to the sound of the main road. The shop is not huge, but we have enough space for everything we need to store. It is mostly filled with ledgers and samples of what we trade. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in. It is a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. My desk is near the front so I can see what is happening outside. Sometimes it is just nice to watch the crowds. We usually start our day around ten and keep going until the evening. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that is usually when we take a small break. It is a busy area, but our shop feels like a stable little corner in the middle of it all. We have known the other shopkeepers on this block for years, so it feels like a small family. We just keep our heads down and handle the trading business one day at a time.
