Smika Infra Projects Llp is out in Nigdi at Sector No.24. Our office is on Plot No 280, which is part of the PCNTDA area. It’s a bit of an industrial neighborhood, which fits the kind of infrastructure work we do. The office is quite large and open. We have several desks where the engineers sit and work on their designs. It is not a fancy corporate building, just a regular structure in a busy sector. We have a lot of whiteboards where we keep track of different project stages. Nigdi is a bit far from the center of Pune, but it is a good location for us because it is close to many of the sites we work on. The air is a bit dusty and the roads around here are always full of trucks and construction vehicles. Inside the office, it is mostly quiet except for the sound of people talking on the phone. We don't have any promotional posters or anything like that. We just have our project files and some basic equipment. Usually, we are busy with the details of some project or another. We drink a lot of chai and keep working until the sun goes down. It’s a very down-to-earth place where everyone knows their role. We just get the job done without making a big deal out of it or worrying about appearances.
