Sitting Systems

Our workshop is over in Wadgaon Dhayari, specifically at S.No.19 / 3 A. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Dhamdhere Gas station. It is a bit of a dusty area with a lot of small businesses tucked away in the lanes. Sitting Systems is basically what the name says. We spend our time working with chairs and different kinds of seating. There is always the sound of staplers or drills going off in the background. The floor is usually covered in bits of fabric, foam, and small screws that someone dropped. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have a functional space where we put things together and fix what’s broken. It gets pretty cramped when a big order is ready to go out and all the finished pieces are lined up near the door. The guys here have been doing this for a long time, so they can tell you exactly why a certain base or cylinder is better than another one. We take our lunch breaks together under the shade when it gets too warm. It’s a simple setup. We focus on making sure the chairs are sturdy and do what they are supposed to do. People from the nearby offices usually drop in when they need a repair or a few more seats for their staff. It is just a regular local business doing its thing.
