Vishwa Medical is right here in Baner at 78-4-3, Shop No 1 in the Kalamkar Building at Balewadi Phata. We are a small medical shop that serves the local people around here. Being near Balewadi Phata means it is a very busy junction with lots of cars and people passing by all day. Our shop isn't very big, so the shelves are packed from top to bottom with all kinds of medicines and health supplies. It can be a bit hard to find things sometimes if you aren't used to the layout, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time behind the counter, talking to people who come in with their prescriptions or just looking for some basic stuff. It is a lot of standing and reaching for boxes. We don't have any fancy displays or expensive lighting. It’s just a regular pharmacy. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to sort through piles of boxes on the floor, which makes the shop feel even smaller. We try to help everyone who walks in, even when it’s late and we are tired. It is a simple business. We have been in the Kalamkar Building for a while and we have seen the area change a lot. We just stay focused on our little shop. The Kalamkar Building is a bit of a landmark at Balewadi Phata, so that helps people find us. We have a small fridge for the medicines that need to stay cold, and it hums all day long. Sometimes we have people coming in late at night looking for something urgent, and we try to be there for them. It’s not just about selling boxes; it’s about knowing the families in the neighborhood. We see the same faces every month. We don't have a computer system that’s very modern, so we still do a lot of things by hand in our ledger books. It’s a bit slow but it works for us. We just keep the shop open and hope for the best.
