Our shop is tucked into the Mayur Trade Center at Shop No. 49 in Chinchwad. It is not the biggest place, but it works for what we do. If you walk into the center, you have to look for the sign near the middle. We spend a lot of time organizing boxes and checking expiration dates. Chinchwad is always moving fast, and there is a lot of traffic on the main road outside the trade center. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped inside when more than three people show up at once. We try to keep the counters clear, but paperwork always seems to pile up. The lighting in the mall area is a bit bright, so we are glad for the shade inside the shop. Mostly, we deal with the locals who live in the nearby apartments. They come in after work or on their way to the market. We don't do anything fancy. It is just about getting the right medicines to the people who need them. Most days start early before the rest of the shops in the center even open their shutters. We like the quiet of the morning. By lunchtime, it gets noisy. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. Being at Shop 49 for this long means we know most of the delivery drivers by name. It is a steady life here in Chinchwad at the trade center. The building is a bit old now, but it is home for our business.
