Our place is situated in Swargate, on the 8th Main Woc Road, 4th Stage 6, near Mukund Nagar and Pune Satara Road. It’s a central spot which makes it convenient, though the traffic on Pune Satara Road can be a nightmare during the evening. The building we are in is quite functional. Inside, the shelves are lined with all sorts of boxes and bottles. We try to keep things in order, but when a big shipment comes in, there are boxes on the floor for a few hours while we sort everything out. It’s a very clean environment, as it has to be for pharmaceutical stuff, but it’s not fancy. We have a small desk where we do all the logging and paperwork. The phone is usually ringing with people checking on their orders. We don't have a big flashy sign out front. Most people find us because they live in Mukund Nagar or are passing through Swargate on their way to work. The air conditioner is usually running to keep the stock at the right temperature, so it’s a bit chilly inside even when it’s hot outside. We don't spend much time chatting; it’s mostly about getting the right items to the right people. At the end of the day, we do a final count of what’s left and make sure the place is locked up tight. It is a steady, quiet kind of work that we’ve been doing for quite some time now, just managing our daily inventory.
