So, the Serum Institute of India Limited is located over at No. 212-2 in Hadapsar. It’s a pretty large place compared to some of the other shops around here. There is a lot of security at the gate, and you have to sign in before you can go anywhere. Inside, it’s very clean, almost too clean compared to the dusty roads outside. People are always wearing white coats and moving around with a purpose. We’ve been in Hadapsar for a long time, and the area has grown up around us. You can see the labs and the big storage units from the main path. It’s not the kind of place where you just drop in for a chat. Everything is very controlled because of the nature of the work. Still, at the end of the day, it's just a lot of people doing their jobs. We have a canteen where everyone gathers at lunch, and that's usually the loudest part of the day. The rest of the time it’s quiet hums from the machinery and people checking monitors. The grounds are kept tidy, and there are some trees near the entrance that give a bit of shade. It’s a big operation, but we still have our daily routines and minor annoyances like anywhere else. It’s just how things are at No. 212-2. We deal with vials and packing all day, making sure the boxes are ready for the trucks that come in the morning. We head home when the shift whistle blows.
