Our office is tucked away in Kharalwadi, which is part of the Pimpri area in Pune. It’s a very crowded and lively part of the city. We do a mix of marketing and land development work from here. The office is usually a bit chaotic with maps spread out on the tables and people coming in to ask about different plots or projects. Pimpri is known for its industries, but Kharalwadi has its own specific pace. There’s a lot of noise from the main road and you can always hear the local vendors calling out. We don’t really have a fancy interior or leather chairs. It’s just a place where we do our work and meet with people who are looking to buy or sell. Sometimes we spend the whole day out on the road visiting sites, so the office stays empty for a few hours. Other times, it’s packed with people talking all at once. Pune has grown so much and being right in the middle of it is interesting. We don’t bother with big slogans or corporate talk. We just tell people what is available and show them the paperwork. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We’ve seen the area change a lot since we started here. Most of the buildings nearby are quite old, but that’s just how it is in this neighborhood. We keep the kettle going for visitors.
