Shruti Sangeet Classes

We are based in Pune City, right on Laxmi Road in the Shirur area. Shruti Sangeet Classes is a small place dedicated to teaching music. This part of the city is always full of life, and our classes add a bit of melody to that. We have been here for a while, and the neighbors are used to hearing the harmonium or the tabla at odd hours. It’s a simple setup. We have mats on the floor and a few instruments scattered around the room. People come here after their work or school. We don’t have a formal reception or anything like that. You just walk in and start your lesson. We teach singing and how to play various instruments. It’s a very local vibe. Most of our students are from the nearby streets. We spend a lot of time going over the basics with the beginners. It takes a lot of practice to get the notes right. We aren't trying to be a big academy. We just like music and want to share what we know. The rooms are a bit small, but they serve the purpose. Every afternoon, the air is filled with the sound of students practicing their songs. It’s just what we do here on Laxmi Road. It is a quiet life of teaching and learning for everyone involved.
