Shrinath Diary is our little shop in Hadapsar. We are all about the milk and dairy products here. Every morning, the milk arrives in big cans and we have to get it processed and ready for the customers. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. We sell fresh milk, curd, and paneer throughout the day. The shop has that distinct smell of fresh dairy which we don't even notice anymore. We keep the floors wet because we are constantly washing the equipment and the floor to keep things clean. It’s a very practical business. People come in with their own steel containers or they buy the plastic packets we have ready. Hadapsar is a very busy area, so there’s always someone at the counter. We spend our time measuring, weighing, and packing. We have a big commercial fridge that keeps everything cold, and you can hear its motor running all day long. We don't do any marketing or have a fancy website. People find us because they live nearby and know our milk is fresh. We keep our accounts in a simple ledger book. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, especially during the morning and evening rushes. We just stay focused on serving the neighborhood and making sure the curd is set right for the day.
