Our main spot is at Dairy Tops, J-177 in the Bhosari Industrial Area. Being in M.I.D.C. means there are factories and warehouses all around us. It's an industrial zone, so it's not exactly a place for a quiet walk. We handle the Baskin Robbins side of things from here. Inside, it's a lot of talk about cold storage and logistics because you can't have ice cream melting in this heat. The trucks come in through the main gate, and we spend a lot of time checking temperatures and making sure the boxes are loaded right. It’s a big space but it feels smaller when it’s full of crates. The office part of the building is where we do the paperwork for the different franchise outlets. We go through a lot of pens and paper keeping track of everything. It's not like the shops where people go to eat; it's much more practical and messy here. We have a small area where we eat our lunch, usually talking about the traffic on the way to Bhosari. The floor is concrete and gets cold because of the cooling units nearby. It is a lot of work to keep things moving on schedule. We don't have much time for sitting around. When the shift ends, we're usually pretty tired from the constant moving. It’s just how the ice cream business works behind the scenes. We have got a good crew here that keeps it all running.
