Shri Naganaray Steel Furniture Plywood Hardware

I started this shop because people around Thaksen Nagar needed a place to get their home stuff without having to travel too far into the city. I’ve been at Survey No 31 for quite a while now, and the place has slowly filled up with all kinds of inventory. Most days I’m just moving heavy plywood sheets around or showing a customer which hinges will actually last on their kitchen cabinets. It is a lot of dust and heavy lifting, but I don't mind the physical work. We keep a good stock of steel cupboards in the back, though they take up a lot of room. People come in asking for very specific hardware, and sometimes I have to dig through several bins to find exactly what they need. Susgaon is growing really fast these days, so there is always someone building a new house or fixing up an old room nearby. My hands are usually a bit dirty from checking the metal or wood, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. This isn't one of those fancy showrooms with air conditioning and bright lights. It is a practical space where you can see the materials for what they really are. I usually open up the shutters early because the local contractors like to get their supplies before the sun gets too hot. Dealing with steel furniture means we have heavy trucks coming in and out of the lane often. It's just a local shop doing its bit for the neighborhood.
