Modern Mirrors

Modern Mirrors is tucked away in Koregoan Park. It’s a nice enough area, though parking can be a real headache sometimes. We spend our days dealing with glass, which means we have to be pretty careful. One wrong move and something breaks, then you’re cleaning up shards for an hour. We make all sorts of mirrors for homes and shops around here. It’s not just about cutting the glass; it’s about making sure the edges aren't sharp and the size is exactly what the person asked for. We don't have a big, shiny office. It's more of a workshop where there’s always a bit of glass dust on the floor. People walk in with measurements written on scraps of paper, and we do our best to follow them. Sometimes we have to go out to people's houses to fit the mirrors, which is always a bit of a job getting everything into the van without it cracking. Koregoan Park has changed a lot since we started, but we’re still here doing the same thing. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Word spreads mostly because people see our mirrors in their friends' houses. It’s steady work and keeps us busy from morning till evening. We just focus on the glass and try to keep the breakage to a minimum. It is a simple life, and the mirrors keep coming and going as people renovate their places.
