Sahil Furniture is tucked away in the Vishnu Malti Industrial Estate. We’re at Survey Number 78/1 near Ganpati Matha. It’s in the Warje area, specifically New Aheregaon, right by Malwadi. It’s definitely an industrial vibe around here. You’ll see plenty of trucks and other shops nearby. Our workshop is where we spend all our time. There’s usually sawdust on the floor and tools scattered around. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear nice shoes. We’ve been in this part of Warje for a while. Finding us can be a little tricky if you don't know the Ganpati Matha landmark. It’s a busy corner of the estate. We’ve got enough space for our wood and the benches we use. It gets pretty loud during the day with all the machines running. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. It’s just the workshop where the actual making happens. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that's just part of the job. We keep the doors open most of the time to get some air in. The guys here have been doing this for years. We just try to get the orders finished on time. It’s a grit-and-grind kind of life in Malwadi. We’re just one of many small businesses operating out of these sheds. It works for what we need to do. We just focus on the pieces we are building and try to keep the workflow steady throughout the week.
