We are located right on the Katraj Bypass in the Ambegaon area, at S. No. 3/1/1 To 4. It is a pretty large space because furniture takes up so much room. Along with the wooden beds and sofas, we also have a whole section for electronics like televisions and washing machines. People driving through Pune usually spot our sign from the main road. It is a very practical kind of shop. We do not have fancy lighting or expensive rugs on the floor like those big malls. It is just rows of furniture and boxes of appliances stacked up. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy stuff around to make space for new stock that arrives on the trucks. The bypass road is always loud with the sound of trucks, which we have just gotten used to over the years. We handle the heavy lifting ourselves most of the time. When a customer comes in, they usually just want to know if a cupboard will fit in their house or how the warranty works. We just give them a straight answer without any sales talk. It is a local business, and we know many of the people around this part of Haveli. Some days the shop is very quiet and we just spend time dusting the wardrobes. Other days, it feels like everyone in town is looking for a new fridge at the same time. We do not do any big promotions. We just keep the doors open and help whoever walks in. It is good, steady work.
