Shri Krishna Dudh Dairy

Shri Krishna Dudh Dairy is located in Akurdi at Shop No 7 in the Siddheshwar Classi building. It’s a small shop, but it keeps us very busy from the early hours of the morning. Usually, we are here before the sun even comes up to take delivery of the milk. It’s a quiet time of day, and we like the stillness before the rest of Akurdi wakes up. Once the other shops start opening, things get a bit more hectic. Siddheshwar Classi is a good spot for us because there are plenty of families living nearby who need their daily milk and dairy products. We have a simple counter and some large refrigerators to keep everything fresh. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy sign. It’s just Shri Krishna Dudh Dairy, written plainly. My cousin and I run the place, and we’ve gotten to know almost everyone in the neighborhood. We see the same faces every single day, and we often know exactly what they are going to buy before they even ask. Sometimes we run out of things early if it's a holiday, but we try our best to keep the shelves full. It’s hard work, and the floors need scrubbing every day, but it’s a good life. We don't have a website or any social media. People just walk in when they need something. That’s how a local dairy should be, I think. We just focus on the shop and the customers in Akurdi.
