Shri Datta Watch Co & Mobile Center

Shri Datta Watch Co & Mobile Center is over in Kothrud. We are right opposite the Kadiya Masid at Limba Pole. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. You’ll see watches in the glass cases and mobile phones on the shelves. Most of the time, I’m sitting behind the counter with a magnifying glass or a small screwdriver. People come in with phones that won't charge or watches that stopped ticking years ago. We just take a look and see what we can do. It’s not a quiet place because of the street noise, but we like it. The shop has been here for a bit, so the neighbors all know us. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just us fixing things. Sometimes we get busy and there’s a bit of a wait, but people don’t seem to mind much. We have these tiny drawers for all the watch parts and screws. If you drop one, it’s gone forever. We sell some new stuff too, but mostly it’s about the repairs. We keep the shop open pretty late most days. It’s just a local spot for the folks around Kothrud to get their gadgets looked at without any fuss. Nothing fancy about it, just an honest little shop by the mosque where we do our daily work and hope for the best. It’s a bit dusty on the shelves, but the watches we fix keep running just fine.
