Krushna Watch Center

Krushna Watch Center is tucked away in Prakash Mohalla. The address says East of Kailash and Vadgoensheri, which can be a bit confusing for people who aren't from around here. It’s a simple setup. We have a lot of clocks on the walls, and they all make different noises at the top of the hour. It’s a bit of a hobby turned into a job, I guess. We don't have a big neon sign out front, so you have to look for the building number 35 388. Inside, there’s a lot of tools and watch straps hanging up. We handle all sorts of watches, from the ones that use batteries to the old mechanical ones your grandfather might have owned. It’s quiet work, mostly just sitting and focusing on tiny parts. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a stool if you want to sit while we change a battery. The area around us is mostly residential, so we see the same faces quite often. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. We just like watches and we like being in this neighborhood. It’s a small business and we run it that way. Sometimes we close a bit early if there’s nothing to do, but usually, there’s a pile of things waiting to be fixed. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, without any big fuss or complicated business plans.
