The shop is at Shop No 8 in the M K Apartments, right across from the Diamond Hotel. If you know the Five Star Society in Fatima Nagar, then you know exactly where we are. We have been here for a long time, just fixing watches and clocks for the neighborhood folks. It’s a small place, not much to look at from the outside, but it has everything we need to get the job done. I usually spend my mornings opening up and getting the workbench ready. You’d be surprised how many people still wear traditional watches these days even with everyone having phones. We see a lot of battery replacements, which is quick, but the real work is when someone brings in an old mechanical piece that hasn't ticked in years. It takes a lot of patience to find the problem. Sometimes we have to wait a while for parts to come in from other places. The traffic near the hotel can be a bit much in the evenings, but it's part of living in this city. Most of our customers are just people living nearby who drop in after work. We don't do much advertising because people just know we are here. It’s a simple life running a watch shop. We keep the hours regular and try to help whoever walks through the door. If you have a watch that’s stopped, just bring it by and we will see what's happening with it.
