Shri Balaji Motor Driving School

We started Shri Balaji Motor Driving School here in Vadgoensheri quite a few years back. If you know the Darwadkar Industries Estate area on Singhad Road, that’s exactly where you can find us at number 18. Driving around this part of town can be a bit much sometimes with all the traffic, so we spend most of our days out on the road with people who are just starting out. It’s mostly about helping folks get comfortable behind the wheel without getting too nervous. We have a few cars that we use every day, and they’ve seen a lot of miles. Some days are long, especially when the roads are packed, but it’s just how it goes. People come to us from all over the neighborhood because they want to finally get their license and stop relying on others for rides. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just sitting in the passenger seat and making sure nobody hits the curb. The office at the estate is pretty simple, usually just someone there to handle the paperwork while the rest of us are out teaching. It gets dusty and loud near the industrial area, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve seen all kinds of students, from teenagers who are excited to learn to older folks who never got around to it until now. It’s just honest work, helping people learn a skill they need for their daily lives.
