Shree Ice Cream Parlor

Our parlor is tucked away in Chinchwadagaon on 12th A Cross. If you walk down 5th Main Road, you will see us at number 6. It’s a small shop with a few freezers lined up against the wall. We spend a lot of time checking the temperature to make sure nothing melts when the power goes out. It gets really hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always running. We have a few chairs out front, but most people just grab their cones and walk away. The floor gets a bit sticky sometimes from kids dropping things, so we are always cleaning up with a bucket and mop. It isn't a big corporate chain or anything like that. It is just a local spot where you can get something cold. We see a lot of families in the evenings when the sun goes down and it’s a bit cooler to walk around. The street can be a bit quiet during the day, but it picks up after school finishes. We keep the flavors we know people like, nothing too weird or experimental. Sometimes we run out of the popular ones and have to wait for the next delivery. It is just how it is. We open up around noon and stay until the last customer leaves at night. It’s a simple job, mostly just scooping ice cream and ringing the bell. We like being part of the neighborhood here and seeing everyone grow up.
