Shree Baneshwar Ice Cream

Shree Baneshwar Ice Cream is our small shop. You can find us in Mathurapur, which is in the Baneshwar area of Taluka Bhor. We are located very close to the Ganeshwar Temple. Because of the temple, we see a lot of people who are traveling from other towns. It’s a very local kind of place. We don’t have a big staff, it’s mostly just family. The shop is simple and we don’t have any of that fancy modern decor. We just have our freezers and a place to stand. Being in Taluka Bhor, it can get very warm, especially in the afternoons. People like to stop here for a break after they visit the temple. We don’t have any big mission or anything like that. We just sell ice cream to whoever walks in. Sometimes the power goes out in the village and we have to scramble to keep things from melting. That’s just part of the job here. We’ve been in Mathurapur for a good while and we like the quiet pace of life most of the time. We don't spend any money on advertising. People just find us because we are near the Ganeshwar Temple. It’s a plain business and we like it that way. We just try to keep everything running and make sure we have enough stock for the weekend crowds. It’s a steady way to live and we are happy to be part of this community near the temple.
