Shetty Driving School

We have been operating Shetty Driving School out of Laxmanbhai Estate on Sureliya Road for quite some time now. Sadashiv Peth is a busy area, so our students get used to real traffic pretty fast. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty from the road outside, but we try to keep things organized. We have a few cars that we use for the lessons. They aren't brand new or anything, but they work fine and the brakes are good, which is what matters most when you are just starting out. I usually spend my mornings checking the schedules and making sure the instructors are ready to go. The area around 592 is always humming with people going to work. It can be a bit stressful for a first-timer behind the wheel, but that is just how Pune is. We don't have fancy waiting rooms with free coffee. It is just a desk, some chairs, and the logs for the driving hours. People come here because they want to get their license and stop relying on the bus. We mostly deal with local folks who live nearby or work in the Peth area. It is a straightforward job, teaching someone how to handle a clutch without stalling in the middle of a busy intersection. Sometimes the students are nervous, and other times they think they know it all already. We just take it day by day and try to get everyone through their tests safely.
