Sharma Driving School

We are based in Ghorpadi, Pune, and we spend most of our time out on the roads with students. Learning to drive in Pune can be a bit of a challenge with all the traffic and narrow lanes, but we try to make it manageable. We have a few cars that we use for the lessons. They aren't brand new, but they are kept in good working order so learners feel safe while they are behind the wheel. We mostly deal with young people getting their first license or sometimes older adults who finally decided they need to learn. It takes a lot of patience to sit in the passenger seat while someone stalls the engine for the fifth time, but that is just part of the job. Ghorpadi is a decent area to start practicing before we head out into the busier parts of the city. We don't have a big office or anything, just a place where people can come to sign up and talk about the schedules. Most of the teaching happens in the car anyway. We just focus on the basics like clutch control and how to park properly. It's a simple business, really. We've been doing this for some time now and know the local RTO rules well. It is rewarding when someone finally gets their license and can drive on their own without needing us there. It takes about a month for most people to get the hang of it.
