Sharda Book Mfg. Co. is located at 413, Narayan Peth, inside Nagarkar Apartments. If you know Pune, you know that Narayan Peth is the heart of the printing and book world. We have been here for years, making books in our own way. It is a bit of a cramped space sometimes, filled with the smell of paper and ink, but that is how a real book manufacturing unit should be. We are not a giant factory with robots. We are just a group of people who know how to put a book together properly. Our address at Nagarkar Apartments isn't a fancy storefront. It is where the actual work happens. We take the raw materials and turn them into something you can actually read and hold. It is a lot of repetitive work, cutting, binding, and checking for mistakes, but we take a certain pride in it. We don't have a big marketing department or a polished website. Most of our work comes from local publishers or schools who have known us for decades. Sometimes the machines act up or the paper delivery is late, but we always manage to get the books out. It is a noisy, busy place but it feels right. We are just a small part of the long history of printing in this area. We don't need to be the biggest; we just want to keep making books that last for the people who need them and keep the tradition going.
