Sentosa Resort & Water Park

Handewadi Road is where you’ll find the park, over in the Ravet area near Chintamani Nagar at 64/6. It’s a large property with several swimming pools and water slides for people to use during the day. Running a water park is a lot more work than people think. We have to constantly check the chlorine levels and make sure the pumps are working properly. Besides the water park, we have rooms where guests can stay for the night or the weekend if they are traveling from further away. The grounds are quite big, so we spend a lot of time cutting the grass and keeping the plants alive in the summer heat. On Saturdays and Sundays, the place is full of families and it gets very noisy with all the splashing. We have a restaurant on the premises that serves standard meals, nothing too elaborate or expensive. The sun is very strong out here, so we try to provide some shade with umbrellas, but it’s still quite hot most afternoons. Chintamani Nagar is a bit far from the city center, which makes it a bit quieter once the guests leave in the evening. We have a team of lifeguards and maintenance workers who help keep things safe for the kids. Sometimes things break down, like a slide might need a repair or a pipe might leak, and we have to fix it. It’s a family-run business and we just work here every day.
