Senior Engineer

Down here in Pune, specifically in Chinchwad Gaon, you'll find me at the Morya Gosavi Raj Park. I am in the Q-4 building. It’s a decent area, quite a lot of activity around Keshav Nagar. I go by the name M.B. Jamkhandi and I have been operating as a Senior Engineer for a good long time. This part of the city has changed so much since I first arrived. The roads are busier and there are more buildings popping up every month. My workplace is pretty straightforward. I have my desk, my computer, and a lot of old files that I still haven't thrown away because you never know when you might need them. People in Pune appreciate someone who just gets on with it. I don't spend money on fancy marketing because the work usually speaks for itself when people see what's been done. I spend most of my time looking at structural details or helping out with local technical issues. It’s a practical life. I walk to the nearby shops for lunch and see the same faces every day. There is something nice about being a local fixture in the neighborhood. You don't need a corporate headquarters to do good engineering. You just need a quiet space in a building like Q-4 and the patience to look at the numbers until they make sense. That's the way I like to work.
