Satwik Milk & Ice Plant

Our plant is tucked into Wada No.17, right by Subhash Chowk on the Main Road. If you are looking for us, we are very close to the Jen Mandir. Being near the temple means the mornings are always busy and a bit loud with people going for prayers. We deal with milk and ice, which means our day starts way before the sun comes up. The trucks come in early to load up. The machinery in the plant makes a constant humming sound that we have all gotten used to over the years. Subhash Chowk is a central point, so there is always something happening outside our doors. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is mostly just the work floor and a small space where we keep the books. The floors are usually a bit wet because that is just how it goes when you are moving ice and milk around all day. We wear boots and try to keep things organized, but it gets hectic during the summer months when everyone wants ice at the same time. The local shopkeepers around the chowk are our neighbors, and we see them every day. It is hard work, and it’s often cold inside but hot outside. We just focus on getting the deliveries out on time so the milk doesn't sit too long in the heat. It is a basic operation, but it keeps us busy.
