Sant Dnyaneshwar Driving School

Operating a driving school near Pragati English Medium School in Pimpri means we deal with a lot of traffic and a lot of nervous students. We are at Survey No. 103, right in the middle of a busy part of Pune. Pimpri has grown so much lately, and the roads are always full of cars and scooters. We spend most of our time in the cars rather than in the office, but the office is where we handle the paperwork. It is a plain room with a couple of chairs and some diagrams on the wall to show how traffic rules work. We don't have any flashy advertisements or big promises. Learning to drive is just a practical skill, and we try to teach it that way. Sometimes a student stalls the car right in front of the school and we just have to be patient. The Maharashtra heat makes the afternoon lessons a bit tough, but we keep going. We aren't a big corporate chain. It is just a local school where we know the streets and the shortcuts. We see the same parents and teachers from Pragati school every day. It is a community thing. Our cars aren't brand new luxury models, but they are well-maintained and good for learning. We just focus on getting people comfortable behind the wheel without any unnecessary stress or complicated talk. It keeps us busy from morning until sunset.
