We run Sameer Amrale Developers from a bungalow in Senadatta Peth. It is bungalow number 9A on Surendra Path, right near the Shivaji Housing Society. It is a bit unusual to have an office in a bungalow, but it works for us. It feels a lot more personal than a big glass building. The area around here is quite old and has a lot of character. We have been here for a long time and we know most of the people on the street. Our work involves a lot of local development and planning. Inside the bungalow, we have set up a few rooms for our staff. It is a mix of computers and old-fashioned paper files. We spend a lot of our time out on sites, but this is where we come back to do all the thinking and planning. We are not a big company with a lot of layers. If you have a question, you just talk to whoever is in the room. We keep our operations simple and do not spend much on making things look polished. We would rather just focus on the actual building and development work. It is a lot of hard work and some days are longer than others, but we like the freedom of working from our own space.
