Samarth Driving School

We are located right on the Main Road in Ghavane Vasti, over in the Bhosari area of Pune. Our spot is in the Gaonthan part, which is usually quite busy. Being in Pune 411039 means we see a lot of traffic. That’s actually good for a driving school because students get used to the real roads pretty fast. We spend most of our day in the cars. The office is just a small place to handle the licenses and the scheduling. It’s not much to look at, just a desk and some chairs. My family and I have been around Bhosari for a long time. People know us here. Teaching someone to drive is a lot of sitting and watching. You have to be patient. Some days it is very hot outside, and the car gets stuffy, but that’s the job. We don’t have a big fleet of cars, just enough to keep things moving. The road outside can be a bit of a mess with all the trucks and bikes, so we start the beginners in the quieter lanes first. It’s a practical business. We don't do much advertising. People just see the cars or hear about us from their cousins. We just want people to learn how to handle a car without getting into trouble. It takes time to get the hang of it, and we are here every day except Sundays. It’s a steady kind of life.
