Sainath Moyer Driving School

Our place is over in Rambaug Colony, Kothrud, quite near the MIT college and Bedekar Ganpati. Because we’re so close to the college, we get a lot of young students coming in between their classes. The office is a modest spot, just enough room to get the paperwork done and have a quick cup of chai. We call it Sainath Moyer Driving School on the sign, and we’ve been here serving the local community for quite some time. The roads around MIT can be a bit chaotic with all the students on bikes, which makes for a great training ground. We spend our days going up and down the colony roads, teaching people how to handle the clutch without rolling backward on the slopes. It’s not a glamorous job, but we enjoy meeting different people every day. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel, with some old posters and a desk that’s seen a lot of use. We don't bother with polished sales pitches. Usually, a parent just brings their kid in and asks us to teach them properly. We take pride in the fact that we know these streets like the back of our hand. Whether it's a sunny day or it's pouring rain, we are usually out there in the cars. We keep things simple and practical because that’s the best way to learn how to survive on these roads. It's just a regular local shop doing its part in the neighborhood.
