Sainath Motor Driving School

Setting up Sainath Motor Driving School here in Alandi Devachi seemed like a natural choice. We are located right by Dehu Phata, which stays busy with people coming for the temple and the local markets. Our little office is tucked in there, and it’s usually filled with the sound of traffic passing by. Alandi has a specific feel to it, a bit slower than the main city but the roads around Dehu Phata can get quite crowded during the festivals. We spend our hours mostly in the driver's seat, watching students struggle with the gear shift. It takes a lot of patience to do this work every day. We don't have a big website or a call center; usually, people just walk in because they saw our sign or heard about us from a neighbor. The office is simple, just a place to keep the registrations and talk to parents. We have a couple of cars that we use for the training, and they’ve definitely seen better days, but they work fine for learning. Sometimes we take the learners out toward the quieter roads near the river to get their confidence up before hitting the main chowk. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. Most days end with us locking up the shop and heading home through the same streets we just spent ten hours teaching on, hoping that the next day's students don't grind the gears too hard.
