Sai Samruddhi Driving School

Started this school in Narhe Gaon because we noticed how many people were moving here and needed to learn. It’s a growing part of Pune and the roads are always changing. Most of my day is spent sitting in the passenger side, watching the feet of students to make sure they don't pop the clutch too fast. We have a small office here where we keep all the files and RTO forms. It gets quite dusty with all the construction nearby, so we are always cleaning the cars in the morning before the first student arrives at 6 AM. Some people learn fast, others take a lot more time, and that is just how it goes. We don't use any big simulators or anything, just real driving on the local streets. The traffic near the highway can be a bit much for beginners, so we stick to the inner roads of Narhe until they feel okay. It is a simple life, just moving from one lesson to the next. My family helps with the scheduling because the phone rings at odd hours. We try to keep the cars in good shape, though the gearboxes take a beating from all the learners. Sometimes we sit and have tea while waiting for the next person to show up. It’s a local business and we know most of the shopkeepers around here. Just trying to help people get their license without making it too complicated.
