Our shop is located in the lower section of the Chourang Sanskruti building. It’s near Amar Cottage here in Pune. Being on the lower level makes it easy for people to just drop in when they need something. We do buildcon work, and our office is just shop number 14. We have some samples of materials lying around and some old files stacked in the corner. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers. Prices of cement and steel are always going up or down, so we have to keep track of that. We aren't a huge company with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us making sure the projects stay on track. There’s a small tea stall just outside where we go for breaks. The shop itself is a bit cramped because we have so many samples of tiles and bricks piled up. Pune traffic can be a real headache when you're trying to visit three sites in one day. We just listen to the radio and wait it out. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to do good work for the people who hire us. Sometimes we have to work weekends if a project is behind. It’s just part of the deal. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just tell it like it is and get to work.
