You can find our furniture shop in Chandan Nagar, specifically in the Sai Nagari area. We are right opposite the Tata Guard Room, which is a big help when we are giving people directions. The water tank on Nagar Road is also close by, so we are in a pretty recognizable part of the neighborhood. We spend most of our time around wood and fabric. It’s a lot of cutting, sanding, and stitching. Our shop isn't a fancy mall showroom. It’s more of a place where you can see the work actually happening. There’s usually sawdust on the floor and the smell of polish in the air. We make sofas, beds, and tables for the families living around here. Sometimes someone wants a specific size to fit a small corner of their flat, and we try to figure that out for them. We don't have a big sales team. It’s usually just us showing what we have in stock or talking about what we can build. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. We like the fact that people from the local housing societies know us. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Pune, we just want to make furniture that stays solid for years. It’s just regular daily work for us. We open up early and close once the last job is done for the day and everything is tidy.
