Sai Engineering

We've been at 769 Chikhlee Kudalwadi Chikali for quite some time now. Sai Engineering is basically a local workshop where we take care of various mechanical and fabrication jobs that come our way. It’s not a large operation, just a few of us who know our way around tools and machines. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and there’s always a bit of grease on our hands. We don't have a fancy front office or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. Most of the time, we’re just out back working on whatever project is on the bench that day. The neighborhood of Chikhlee is busy, and we’ve become part of the daily noise here. We see the same delivery drivers and neighbors every day. Our machines are old but they still do the job if you treat them right. We don't spend money on advertising or big signs. If someone needs something fixed or a part made, they usually just find us by word of mouth or by walking in. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when we’re welding, so we take a few tea breaks to keep going. We don’t have a grand plan or a corporate strategy. We just show up, look at the work that needs doing, and get on with it until the sun goes down. That’s just the way it works for us here.
