SAHYADRI BUILDCON LLP

You can find us in Pune, over at Bilwakunj Apartments. We are on the fifth floor in flat number five. It’s a residential building, so the office feels more like a home than a stiff corporate space. Sahyadri is the name we use for our buildcon business. Pune is a big city for construction right now, and there is always a lot of activity on the roads. We spend our days coordinating between different sites. It’s mostly about making sure the materials arrive when they are supposed to. Sometimes they don’t, and then we have to scramble. The office has a few chairs and a big table for looking at layouts. We drink a lot of tea while we talk about the upcoming phases of work. The lift in the building is a bit slow, so sometimes we just take the stairs. It’s good exercise, I guess. We have some plants in the office that we forget to water occasionally. It’s a busy life. We try to keep things organized with folders and labels, but it usually ends up in a pile on someone's desk. That’s just how it goes when things are moving fast. We talk to a lot of different people, from truck drivers to architects. We don't have any fancy brochures. If people want to see our work, we just take them to a site. We aren't perfect, but we always finish what we start and move on.
