Padali is where we have set up our operations at Sy No 1002. It is a bit out of the way in Tal Khed, but that suits the kind of work we do with natural milk and milk products. Being in a place like Padali means we are closer to where everything actually starts. The air is a bit different out here compared to the big cities and it can get quite quiet in the afternoons. Our building is a practical structure that handles all the milk coming in from the local area. There is always a lot of washing and cleaning going on because that is just part of the dairy life. We have a few staff members from the nearby villages who help us out with the daily tasks. It is not a very complicated setup, just some machines and a lot of floor space for the crates and cans. Sometimes the roads around Khed can be a bit rough after the rains, but we manage to get things moving one way or another. We do not have a big front desk or a receptionist because we are usually out back working. Most days involve a lot of checking the temperature and making sure the natural milk is handled right. It is a steady way to make a living and we have grown fond of this little corner of Padali over the years. We just focus on the milk and the people. We are glad to be here.
