Sahara Dairy is right next to Amidhara Wadi at Camp JK Park. We’ve been here at 1873 for quite a while now. Most days start pretty early because that’s just how it goes with dairy. People usually drop by in the mornings to get what they need before the day really gets moving. The shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. We mostly focus on keeping things simple and making sure the fridge is stocked properly. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded around the entrance when the delivery trucks arrive, but we manage. The neighborhood is fairly quiet except for when there’s an event at the wadi next door. We know most of the people who come in by their first names or at least their usual orders. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have fancy signs or anything like that, just the basic stuff you’d expect from a local spot. If you’re walking past the park, you’ll see us there. The floors get mopped a few times a day because things can get messy with the crates coming in and out. We try to keep things tidy as much as possible. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out most of the time. We don’t spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork if we can help it. It’s mostly about being there when the door opens and making sure everything is handled for the day.
