Sadguru Associates

If you find yourself on Rm Road in Shaniwar Peth, you’ll likely walk right past us at 551/3. Sadguru Associates is basically a small office where we spend our days handling various kinds of paperwork and consulting. Shaniwar Peth is an old, crowded part of the city, and our building fits right in with the rest of the neighborhood. We deal with things like property documents, maybe some tax related stuff, and other general administrative tasks that people find too confusing to do alone. The office isn't very big, and we have files stacked up on the shelves because that’s just the nature of this work. It’s mostly just us sitting at our desks, talking to people who come in with folders full of papers. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm; we just help our neighbors and local businesses get their records in order. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is the highlight of our afternoon. People come to us because we’ve been here a while and we know how the local systems work. It can be tedious sitting around with forms and signatures all day, but it’s what we do. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know their way around a government office. It’s practical work for a practical area like Shaniwar Peth. We start work early and usually stay until the paperwork is all finished for the evening.
