Bk Medicals

Bk Medicals is a shop in Sadashiv Peth. Specifically, we are at Shop No. 10 in Ramavishnu Apartments. Sadashiv Peth is famous for its narrow lanes and traditional vibe, and we are right in the middle of it at house number 1487/88. The shop is filled from floor to ceiling with shelves. We have to use a small stool to reach the stuff at the top. It’s a busy little place because there are always people walking by. We spend our day talking to customers and looking through those long lists of medicines. It’s a lot of standing around and searching for specific boxes. The apartment building itself is a typical Pune structure, nothing too modern. We know most of the regular people who come in from the neighborhood. It’s the kind of place where you hear the bells from the local temples and the sound of scooters constantly. We don't have a lot of space for sitting down, so it’s mostly just us behind the counter. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use a flashlight to find what we need. It’s a simple life running a medical shop. We keep the inventory as organized as we can, but it’s a constant battle with all the small items. We just open up in the morning and stay until the shutters go down at night. It is a lot of routine, but it keeps us busy.
