Sachin Provision Store

You can find Sachin Provision Store over in the Darukhana part of Bhosarigoan. It’s a straightforward shop for people living around here. We carry the essentials like spices, soap, and different kinds of rice. I started this place because there weren't many options close by for the families here. The shop is small and the counter is made of dark wood that's been rubbed smooth over the years. We don't have a fancy sign, just the name painted on the shutter. Every morning I sweep the front area before the first customers arrive for their milk. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we just leave the door wide open for the light. It gets a bit hot, but we’re used to it. I usually have a couple of cousins helping me out during the festival seasons when everyone wants sugar and oil for making sweets. We don't have a delivery van, but if someone lives right next door and can't carry a heavy bag, one of us will walk it over. It’s not a big deal. We try to keep the inventory simple so we don't have things sitting on the shelf for too long. Mostly we just focus on what people need for their kitchen every single day. It’s a quiet life but we like the people in Darukhana. They’re good neighbors to have and they help us out too.
