Malas Fruit Products

Malas Fruit Products is located out at 25/1A in Bhose Village, which is just on the way to Panchgani. Being up here in the hills means the air is usually a lot cooler than it is down in the plains, which helps when we are dealing with all the fruit. We spend a lot of time watching the weather because it really changes how things go with the harvest and the deliveries. Our place in Bhose isn't anything fancy to look at, just a practical setup for getting things packed and ready to go out. You can often smell the fruit being processed if the wind is blowing the right way, which is one of the better parts of working here. We have a lot of local folks from the village who come in to help out during the busy seasons when everything seems to ripen at once. There is always a lot of clinking of jars and the sound of crates being moved around on the floor. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time with the narrow roads around here, so we spend a bit of time coordinating who is coming and going. We don't have a big marketing department or anything, just people who have been working with fruit for a long time. It’s a simple life out here in the village, and we mostly just focus on what needs to be done each morning before the mist finally clears off the hills.
