Sachin Dance Academy

Our dance academy is located right in the heart of Dhanakawadi. It is a lively place where there is almost always music playing from the speakers. We have a wooden floor that has seen a lot of use over the years from all the students practicing their steps. It is not a huge studio, but it has enough mirrors for everyone to see what they are doing. We mostly teach the kids from the local neighborhood who come in after school. You can hear the thumping of feet and the counting of beats from the street outside. Sachin Dance Academy is where we spend most of our evenings, trying to get the choreography right for the next local show or competition. The air is often thick with the smell of sweat and floor wax. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. Just a bench where parents sit and wait while their children finish the class. Sometimes we get a bit frustrated when the steps are hard, but we just keep going until everyone gets it. Dhanakawadi is a busy area, and we fit right in with the noise and the energy of the place. We are just a group of people who love to dance and wanted to share that with the folks living nearby. It is a very local, down-to-earth kind of place with no airs about it. We just enjoy seeing people learn to move and have fun while they are here.
