S B Engineers

You can find the S B Engineers workshop at P No J 496, right in the heart of the MIDC area in Bhosari. Being situated in an industrial estate like Bhosari means we are surrounded by hundreds of other factories and small shops. Our unit is a pretty typical engineering setup. We have our lathes, milling machines, and all the bits of scrap metal that naturally pile up when you are working. It is a noisy environment and there is always that distinct smell of cutting oil hanging in the air. We do a lot of job-work for the larger companies that are located nearby. Sometimes we are making a small batch of custom parts, and other times we are working on something much more complicated. Our team is not very big, just a few guys who really know how to read a technical drawing and run the machinery. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the time we finish for the day. We do not spend any money on decorations or trying to make the front of the shop look pretty. For us, it is always about the work itself rather than the appearance. The MIDC area has its own set of daily problems, like the occasional power cut or the heavy traffic when the local shifts change. We have been here a long time and we just do what we say we are going to do. We do not make big promises that we cannot keep. It is a simple life.
