Royal Orchid

Our place, Royal Orchid, is located inside the Shanti Rakshak Co Operative Housing Society in Yerwada. Specifically, we are at B/30 in Shastri Nagar. It's a residential neighborhood in Pune, so it feels more like a home than a business. We started this because we had the space and we wanted to do something with it. Being in a housing society means we have to follow some rules and keep things quiet for the neighbors, which we try our best to do. It’s not a huge operation with a lobby and a concierge. Usually, it's just one of us handling the keys and making sure the place is clean for whoever is coming. The address can be a little tricky for delivery drivers to find sometimes, but once you’re here, it’s pretty straightforward. We get all sorts of people staying here, some for work in Pune and some just visiting friends nearby. We don't have fancy brochures or a marketing team. Most of what we do is just day-to-day upkeep, like changing linens and making sure the lights work. It’s a modest setup. We like the area because it’s close to a lot of things in Yerwada but still tucked away in the society. It’s just a simple place run by people who live right here in the city.
